Codename Eagle

There would be no Battlefield without it. Developed by Refraction Games (acquired by DICE in 2000), Codename Eagle took place in an alternate timeline in the early 20th century. There was a single-player campaign set in a world where World War 1 never happened, but something groundbreaking was taking place in multiplayer. Infantry, vehicles, and aircraft were all in the fight at the same time. Perhaps this concept could be taken further?
