To celebrate International Women's Day and Women’s History Month, our local employee resource group in Sweden, Women's Ultimate Team (WUT), hosted a workshop with Girls Make Games—an organization dedicated to inspiring and empowering young girls to pursue careers in the game development industry, where women continue to be underrepresented.
Here in Sweden, it is approaching Midsummer – a cherished tradition for us in welcoming summertime that then leads into vacations. So, I thought I would take some time to reflect on my time here at DICE over the last six months and my excitement for the future of the studio as we celebrate our 30th anniversary this year.

We are leveling up our future work strategy and are adapting an Inclusive - Remote First - Mindset, allowing us to make games where we are.
On June 9th we were finally able to show the world what we have been working on the past year as we released our Battlefield 2042 Official Reveal Trailer. postPerspective met with the team behind the trailer (that has been viewed over 16,000,000 times so far!!) to talk about process, challenges, and creative thinking.
As part of our “ERG in Focus” series we have now come to our third Employee Resource Group - ASian & Pacific Islanders REpresent, ASPIRE for short. In collaboration with ASPIRE we brought the Pacific to life for our largest expansion of Battlefield V. Annie Lim, Jennifer Sunahara, Tülay Tetiker-McNally, Lars Gustavsson, and Claes Dietmann are joining us to talk more about this collaboration.

It doesn’t get any more Swedish than this - it’s finally here! Today we celebrate midsummer in Sweden. It’s the brightest day of the year and we all celebrate it with endless amounts of fresh potatoes, pickled herring and of course strawberries and flowers.
