The decision to revisit the world of Mirror’s Edge was in many ways a leap of faith for us. Would fans of the original cult classic enjoy our reimagining? Would those new to a “first-person runner” appreciate the concept? When Mirror’s Edge Catalyst launched in 2016, we stuck the landing.

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst is the origin story of Faith, a daring free runner fighting for freedom within the City of Glass. In contrast to the first game, we designed this huge metropolis as a sandbox, free to roam for players uncovering the conspiracy. Fluid movement and advanced combat in the shiny but sinister environments all came together to create something special.
